Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be one of the sport's greatest athletes. Biles was the first American female gymnast ever to win four gold medals at one Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to win successive World All-Around championships. Biles was born within Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. Biles and her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to the sport by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman, when she was 6 years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles was awarded silver and gold medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 at the top section of competition. Within two years she had been the best in this particular sport. Biles was notable for her consistently high performance and exuberant persona, and the difficult routines she performed at each of the four events: vaulting, uneven bars and the balance beam.
