Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born on April 24, 1982 , in Fort Worth, Texas. Clarkson is an American TV personality and singer-songwriter. In 2002, she was the winner of her first American Idol talent contest. Clarkson was born at Burleson (Texas) which is a suburb close to Fort Worth. Her vocal ability was noticed at the age of seven by the teacher who taught choir at her school. When she graduated from high school, Clarkson was sent on a trip to Los Angeles to try to get into the business world. The show was able to select her to be a contestant for the Fox Broadcasting Company's American Idol singing competition, which allowed viewers the opportunity to choose their favorite performer. Clarkson was adored by the viewers because of her charismatic voice and wit. Clarkson took home $1 million and a contract recording together with RCA to be her reward.
