sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was born on July 6, 1946 as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. He is the elder son of Francesco "Frank" Stallone, Jr. is who is an Italian hairdresser, aswell being Jackie Stallone Sr., who is an astrologer/dancer. Frank Stallone Sr, his younger brother, is an actor, musician and hairdresser. The complications of childbirth led to the lower left part of Sylvester's facial to become affected, resulting in the now iconic "snarling" face and slightly slurred speech. Stallone had a few of his early years in foster care as a result of the volatile relationship between his parents. The couple eventually divorced. Stallone was a drama student in Switzerland at the American College before moving on to Miami University. Stallone left school to explore acting in New York City.
