
Heidi Watney (born May 19, 1981) is an American sportscaster who serves as a reporter for Apple TV+.A graduate of the University of San Diego, her previous experience in sportscasting included roles in MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations located in Fresno.Watney was a student at Clovis West High School in Fresno where she competed in gymnastics, hurdles, diving and cheerleading. She was a National Merit Scholar. She attended the University of San Diego with an academic scholarship. She was awarded an honors degree in 2003. Watney competed in Miss California USA in 2002, where she was first second place. From September 2003 onwards, Watney worked for KMPH-TV (FOX 26) in Fresno. The reporter began her career as the morning traffic reporter prior to moving into a anchoring on weekends in 2005, and later becoming a weekday sports reporter.
