
Constance Marie Lopez, born September 9, 1965 is an American actress from the United States. Her roles include Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) and Marcela Quintanilla as the mother of Selena in Selena (1997). She played Regina Vasquez on the ABC Family/Freeform drama show Switched at Birth (2011-17). She is currently portraying Camila Diaz in the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (2019). Marie started her acting career when she was in her teens. Her first film role came in the 1988 film Salsa. Other credits on film and television include Early Edition and Dirty Dancing, Selena and Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was chosen to play the role as Angie Lopez in ABC's comedy series George Lopez. Marie played alongside Jacqueline Obradors, Hector Elizondo and Elizabeth Pena in the 2001 comedy-drama Tortilla Soup. She also appeared in the PBS drama series American Family. Her clothing line was launched "The Constance Marie" in October 2007. 2. In the same year, she was featured in an ad campaign for PETA which urged people to spay and neuter their pets. 3. Marie was the legal mother and birth mother of one of her daughters, Regina Vasquez. She starred in the drama ABC Family/Freeform Switched at Birth from 2011 until 2017.
